The Asian/Pacific Islander Domestic Violence Resource Project (DVRP) is currently recruiting members for its Board of Directors. This is a great opportunity to develop management and leadership skills because the Board is extremely active in running this nonprofit organization headquartered in Washington DC.

Founded in 1996, DVRP seeks to address and prevent domestic violence in Asian and Pacific Islander (A/PI) communities in the DC metropolitan area. Board members engage in a variety of activities to assist the organization, including: developing strategic objectives, directing finances, grant writing, fundraising, drafting press statements, community outreach, and much more. All current members are full-time working professionals in the DC metro area and commit a significant amount of time to the functions of the Board(including monthly meetings).
