Join the movement to end domestic violence and sexual assault!  You already have what it takes — a desire and commitment to ending gender violence within Asian/Pacific Islander communities. Here are some ways to get started:
We are launching our first ever volunteer program filled with opportunities to make a difference! Volunteers will receive free trainings from frontlines workers, our DVRP staff, join a team that best suits their interests, and meet a wonderful community of folks working towards a future free from violence. The program asks for a monthly commitment of 8-10 hours. Sign up by February 1st, 2024. Questions? Email

Serve on DVRP’s Board of Directors
We are currently recruiting new members for DVRP’s Board. Board members play an active role in the governance and leadership of the organization. We are looking for energetic, passionate individuals with at least 3-5 years of experience in fiscal management, accounting, non-profit administration, development, fundraising or grant writing. Click here for more information.

Do you speak an Asian/Pacific Islander language? DVRP is always recruiting language advocates who can provide interpretation to survivors or through the hotline and translation of informational materials.  Language advocates who are interested in working with survivors will have to complete an advocates orientation.
DVRP is also actively recruiting volunteers who specialize in outreach and training. These volunteers assist in organizing cultural community gatherings to discuss healthy relationships and tabling at fairs and festivals.

Internship positions may also be open. Contact us to learn more.

Offer Pro-Bono Services
DVRP welcomes professional volunteers with skills in legal services, financial management/auditing, counseling, graphic design and evaluation. Contact us to learn more.

Support a Survivor
Contributions from generous individual donors such as yourself enables DVRP to do its important work. Today, less than 1% of philanthropic dollars actually flow to the Asian/Pacific Islander community, despite being the fastest growing ethnic group in the U.S. Be part of the change and support a survivor today by making a donation.

In-Kind Donations
The majority of survivors that DVRP works with are immigrants, low-income, and limited English proficient.  DVRP accepts in-kind donations of international calling cards and pre-loaded Smartrip cards for bus/metro.  We are not accepting other material donations (i.e. clothing, shoes, etc.) at this time.  Please mail your in-kind donation to: A/PI DVRP, PO Box 14268, Washington, DC 20044.   Thank you!
